Bayonetta 2 fails to beat Super Smash Bros

The latest game that is said to be one of the most awaited titles by Wii U gamers, Bayonetta 2, its official debut in Japan. As expected, just go on sale on 20 September, and the game received a positive reception.

According to Japanese game sales data from Media Create, Bayonetta 2 successfully sold nearly 39 thousand copies. Unfortunately, the figures were only able to bring Bayonetta 2 into the third position, under the Super Smash Bros. and 2 Yo-Kai on second ranks.

Not only that, Bayonetta 2, which was released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U ia not yet able to boost console sales figures. Best sellers last week is still on hold by the 3DS, the PS Vita and PS4. Nintendo Wii U is still comfortably in fourth position.
