In New York City Toy Fair , Activision has announced a new game, Transformers : Rise of the Dark Spark . Still a third-person action adventure , this game stories forwarding the latest Transformers movie , Transformers : Age of Extinction , and featuring more than 40 playable characters .
Besides continuing the story of Michael Bay's latest movie , the game developed by Edge of Reality ( Loadout ) also continue the story from Transformers : War for Cybertron and Transformers : Fall of Cybertron . Transformers : Rise of the Dark Spark will tell hunting over Dark Spark , an ancient relic that is said to be as strong as the Matrix of Leadership .
When playing the campaign , gamers can switch between Autobot and Decepticon factions freely . It also said that the gameplay will be similar to the fast Cybertron series and coupled with the exploration sequences using a vehicle in an open field .
Escalation mode , which was first introduced in the War for Cybertron and liked by the fans , will be presented again . In this mode , the four players must work together to face waves of enemy attacks . In this latest entry , Escalation brings new features such as the defense system could be improved , enemies that can be recognized , and a lot more character options .
This game will bring a new leveling system that changes the single player and multiplayer modes into " a unified character development path . " Experience gained in any mode will unlock rewards and a variety of additional options , such as new characters , more powerful weapons , special abilities , and others .
Transformers : Rise of the Dark Spark will be released for PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360 , Wii U , PC , and 3DS in 2014 .
